At school it was my strongest subject and since then I have gravitated towards artistic pursuits and inspirational surroundings.
As a teenager I developed an interest in theatre and found this to be a creative and nurturing environment. I worked for many years in the wardrobe department and went on to study set design and scenic art at Croydon College.
Throughout this time I also worked creatively in the entertainment industry, doing designs for theatre productions, propping/painting for films and model making for other designers.
During my life i also developed a fascination with fine art from figurative to abstract, drawing, painting and sculpture, ancient to modern.
I have worked in West End theatre for more than 20 years and still work regularly as a costume painter and renovator while creating my own work at home.
